AGAPE

I’m going to Dallas tonight to see my mom and her husband…yep yep I going. I think/believe I should have a good time. I hate the driving part. For the last three weeks I’ve gone out of town. I would just like to stay home..besides the fact I’m going to be in a car with a couple for 5and half hours. Ohhh..yeah I’m going with my brother and sister-in-law. I kinda of like Dallas…if I didn’t live in Wichita or KC Dallas would be my third choice.

 Moving on…My job is going along splendly(if that’s a word). Everyday is new and always exciting. I have so many stories I could tell but it would take to long. But I will tell one or two. Yestarday I accompanied one of my clients to the County court house so she could get a PFA(Protection From Abuse). I didn’t realize how long the process was to get a PFA. We were there for two hours. She had to fill out about 10 pages of information, then a judge had to sign documents, and finally we had to go upstairs and have someone plug all the information in the computer. So if anyone ever needs to get a PFA…just an FYI it might take awhile. 

I didn’t realize how hard it would be to be a social worker until this job. I see children and that breaks my heart. Yestarday when my client was filling out paper work the cutest little boy came and sat down next to me. It broke my heart so much…to know that this child was in a bad situation. Then his mom came and grabbed him away..she probably was afaird for her child,talking to someone he doesen’t know. It just broke my heart. Also, when I have to take one of my clients to the food bank and I see children that are dirty and hungery…ohhhh,that would break anyone’s heart.

 I’m off to work….I hope everyone has a God filled weekend….

You can’t expect people to look eye to eye with you if you are looking
