I told her so….
I was walking with my friend Katie last night and I told her I was going to write a blog topic about her. I think she thought I was joking…..the joke is on her:) So I’m going to tell the(short) story of how Katie and I became friends.
I met Katie about year ago at Olive Garden(I think) and she was sitting at the opposite end of the table talking to the guy(at that time) I liked. I thought to myself, “who does this skinny girl think she is?” At the time I didn’t know but she was completely repulsed by the guy(at that time) I liked. We both look back and laugh. Now back to my story…where was I…Ohh yes….so I didn’t talk to Katie that evening for the obvious reasons. Then Katie started to hang around the Daisy House(she went to college with Kimmy). I didn’t hang around the Daisy House that mcuh (I was MIA for awhile) last summer. Then after spending several months away God pulled me back to the Daisy House last fall. When I went back Katie was still hanging around and we just clicked. You know how when you meet someone you just “click” that’s how it was. I guess God had a plan that we would be friends. Now Katie, I and the rest of the group hang out at least once a week if not more.
Katie to me is like Mighty Mouse. She is so small but has this “might” about her when she gets on roll about something(it’s very entertaining) I also, call katie my evil-thinner twin, even though she is sweeter than I’ll ever be:). So that is the story of how Katie and I became friends…I don’t think I forgot anything:) Cheers to friends!!!
